Guilty Gear's titular main protagonist, Sol Badguy. In the story, he was a scientist originally named Frederick Bulsara before being turned into gear by That Man, and spends the rest of his life as a bounty hunter seeking revenge, butting heads with Ky Kiske, and mentoring Sin Kiske.
As of Guilty Gear -Strive-, Sol has been stripped of his powers as a gear and retired to a simple life as Frederick again with his new partner, Jack-O.
