- Thanks to the Shield One for AllGuardStartup23Recoverytotal 49Advantage- creates absorbing a single strike. It allows Vane to run oki vs Anila that she can't reversal out of. Regardless of the version used by Anila as long as the shield is between her and Vane. (This includes her 623U.)
- Be wary when she has full meter however. Either of her SBAs will blow straight throw the shield and lead to you losing a chunk of your life bar.

Once the shield is active, it will effectively nullify Charlotta's use of Shining OnslaughtGuardMidStartup11Recovery8Advantage-2 in neutral, removing one of her approach options entirely. If ANY version (Ultimate included) of it makes contact with One for AllGuardStartup23Recoverytotal 49Advantage- it will lose its hitbox, but Charlotta will continue traveling forward. This leaves her wide open for a punish of Vane's choosing!
- Vane has big buttons that travel far, and Charlotta is short and cannot travel quickly without Shining Onslaught. Play slow and methodical, and keep her out.

Due to it's long startup an aware Zeta player can use her 236UFile:GBVSR Zeta 236U.pngGuardAllStartup9 [16]RecoveryAdvantage+2~+9 on reaction to not only destroy the shield. But, punish Vane for a potentially high damage combo (if she has more resources available) at the same time!
- If the Zeta player is opting to use Spear of ArvessGuardMidStartup16Recovery19Advantage-9~-3 in their pressure make note of which follow-ups they're choosing to use. If they choose to retreat to safety with the 4X follow-up, and Vane has 50 meter, Vane can actually punish this retreat attempt with 214UGuardAllStartup20Recovery19Advantage+4 for a grip of damage. As well as a hard knockdown to run in and setup/start pressure.

- You can roll through the Dragon Zooey summons during 236UGuardMidStartup15RecoveryTotal 66 [102]Advantage-13 on reaction. If you do Vane can reliably punish Zooey's 236UGuardMidStartup15RecoveryTotal 66 [102]Advantage-13 with his 214HGuardMidStartup21Recovery25Advantage-4 from all but full screen. Meanwhile, his 214UGuardAllStartup20Recovery19Advantage+4 can punish this move from anywhere on the screen post forward roll.
- Zooey's only real reversal, outside of supers, is her 623UGuardMidStartup8Recovery24Advantage-10 which has only a single hit on the way up. Due to this, if Vane is able to place One for AllGuardStartup23Recoverytotal 49Advantage- on top of her during her wake-up it allows him to pressure her with pretty much zero worries. If the Zooey player does choose to do 623UGuardMidStartup8Recovery24Advantage-10 on their wake-up regardless of this; the shield will eat the first hit of the reversal. Due to Zooey also having zero invul on the way down Vane is able to 2HGuardMidStartup11Recovery25Advantage-13 her for a counter hit and a VERY high damage combo!
