Offensive Overview

In Granblue Fantasy Versus Offense is an essential tool to guide you to victory. Knowing when and how to calculate and press the assault is essential for victory.

Normals

The entire cast has a universal set of light, medium, and heavy attacks and how they work depends on if you are standing, in the air or crouching. The general rule of thumb is that:
  • light attacks are fast, but don't deal as much damage to opponents
  • medium attacks have their speed cut, but they deal more damage
  • heavy attacks are slower than light or heavy attacks, but they yield more power than light or medium attacks.

For better knowledge, it would be best to refer to your character's move sets to make the most of and master them!

Skills

Katalina using one of her skills.
Using R1 (Default button) + one of the three directions available, presented under the HUD (see HUD) will activate the skill assigned to those buttons. Once activated, the respective skill will be rendered unusable until the cooldown (refer to Gauges) has passed.
