Regular Mitsuru Combos

Intermediate.png Core combos balance potency with consistency. They:
  • Work against most characters of a selected weight or hurt box type
  • May require moderate adjustments to account for variables such as screen position, hit count, resources, and opposing character
  • Are expected to be consistently performable by most intermediate and advanced players who main the character

5A Starter

Midscreen

AutocomboOne of the best autocombos on the game, don't resort to it at all times though.
Very Easy

5A > 5AA > 5AAA > 5AAAA
Ol' reliable. You mostly wanna use this at 5A tip range, though using it instead of other confirms can make you lose out on damage.

It is not recommended to follow up with 5AAAAA to get the super input, unless you are really trying to close out a round and you believe it will kill.

Midscreen ConfirmGets slightly more damage.
Easy

5A > 5AA > 6B > 5C > [4]6A
This is slightly better than the autocombo, but it still does not get a great amount of damage. It's also good for keeping yourself at a good range to continue pressure after hitting the combo.

Keep in mind it will not work at the tip range of 5A.

Close Midscreen 50 SP ConfirmA great way to cash out 50 SP.
Medium

5A > 5AA > 6B > 6OMC > 2[B] > 6[B] > 2AB > [2]8C > 6[B] > 2[B] > [2]8D > AoA~D
If you have 50 SP, this is one of your best recommended options as it lets you cash in damage while maintaining good okizeme.

This only works at closer ranges, with farther ranges making the 2[B] whiff.

Counter Hit ConfirmGet used to reacting to Counter Hit to confirm this in matches.
Easy

5A > 2AB > [4]6B
Does not bring much reward midscreen, though it grants a safejump, can be done from anywhere, and launches the opponent forward a bit.

Corner-specific

Corner Close ConfirmAmazing meterless damage, and one of the reasons you want your opponent in corner.
Medium

5A > 5AA > 6B > 2[B] > 2D > 6[B] > 2AB > [2]8C > 6[B] > 2[B] > [2]8D > 6[B] > AoA~D
Typically, Normal Mitsuru cannot get much at midscreen meterless with a 5A starter, so it makes putting the opponent in corner extremely ideal if she wants to be able to get good damage.
