Kagura is one of the newer characters, and the sole charge character in the BlazBlue series. His Drive, Black Gale, allows him to enter three different stances
, and each stance comes with its own set of unique moves that are initiated by pressing 
/
/
after entering the stance. Stances and stance attacks can be canceled into each other directly, and stance attacks can be chained together once consecutively.
In the story, Kagura is the current head of the Mutsuki family, and leader of the Imperial Guards. He led a coup d'etat to remove 
Izanami from power and seat Homura Amanohokosaka as its new Imperator. 
Hibiki Kohaku is his personal and loyal assistant.
