This page is Potemkin's Resources page. This page is to be used to indiscriminately store just about any pieces of gameplay information that anyone may have that exists about this character, to make for a catalog of preserved content that can (and probably should) be fully realized and transcribed onto main character pages after review.
For simplicity's sake; anything you would want pinned in your character channel or character Discord can go here, such as:
- Character Discord pins
- Links or transcriptions of external personal documents and / or Dustloop User Docs
- Tech videos, especially from Twitter hashtags
- One-off or niche combo routes
- Set-ups (for pressure, mix-ups, okizeme, or setplay)
- Video analyses of matches and sets
Documents
You can embed links to external documents or User Docs here.
Videos
You can embed videos of content here, preferably on generally permanent platforms such as YouTube, or via a direct embed.
- BRC > kSlidehead sets up an autotimed 50/50. Variations in the video.
- Giganter Kai > j.P(whiff) > j.K > Pot Buster (and its variations) effectively converts Giganter Kai into a tick-throw setup.

Players to Watch
Color | Name | Region | Sample Footage | Things to Watch For |
---|---|---|---|---|
FAB | Japan | [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NWl7EM3kAdY vs Gekiuma dog (Testament) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgvBD3rExw4 vs SYOKUSYU (Chipp) (S3) ] | Legacy Potemkin player. FAB plays a patient neutral game to look for the opportunities to close the distance. As a grappler main, FAB is also notorious with reading the opponent to keep his opponents on their toes. FAB illustrates an incredibly high level of neutral and can easily adapt to the situation at hand, even when it comes down to improvising combos in the heat of the moment. | |
Snake Eyez | USA | [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nL1l7huQuw vs Hotashi (Nagoriyuki) https://youtu.be/zH9P7PTdxLQ?feature=shared&t=6984 vs Zippy (Leo) (S2)] | A more gimmicky style of Potemkin plays, somewhat analogous to Hotashi's playstyle. Snake Eyez can be seen using maybe unoptimal yet unexpected setups that can catch opponents off guard to keep a mental stack. Although Snake Eyez is retired from Strive, he illustrated some of the highest level of neutral Potemkin has to offer. | |
Aboii | USA | [https://youtu.be/s4ReFaJMMtE?feature=shared vs Dany (Ky) (S3.5)

An aggressive style of Strive Potemkin. Aboii utilizes armor with tension to its absolute limits in order to open up the opponent and score a knockdown. From there, he is known for using meaty garuda relentlessly to force his opponents into a true strike throw. Aboii illustrates Potemkin's strengths solely through his unique style of play and utilizes some of Potemkin's newest tech to the fullest. |
