Battle Types

Battle types are an official indication of the style and complexity the characters have in the game.

Character Type Traits Character
DNFD Standard.png

Standard

A type with good balance between offense and defense. Recommended for beginners.  Vanguard,  Hitman,  Troubleshooter,  Berserker,  Spectre
DNFD Ranged.png

Ranged

A type with many moves that apply pressure upon the opponent from afar. Placed at a disadvantage when in melee range.  Launcher,  Ranger

Traps

A type that can plant special tools on the field to restrict their opponent's movement.  Crusader,  Inquisitor,  Kunoichi
DNFD Gimmicky.png

Gimmicky

A type that bends the rules of battle. Recommended for moderately experienced players and above.  Dragon Knight,  Ghostblade,  Enchantress,
 Swift Master,
 Lost Warrior,  Brawler

Melee

A type with moves that are considerably short-ranged, but has many offensive options including mids.  Striker

Grabs

A type which has difficulty in creating advantageous situations, but can instantly turn the tide of a fight with a single correct prediction through strong grabs and more.  Grappler

Character Height

Character height is subjective but can be useful to give a general idea of what can and cannot work on certain characters due to height differences. Dragon Knight is slightly smaller than Encantress.

Swift master is slightly smaller than Vanguard/Inquisitor/Grappler but taller than Berserker.
