Safejumps

Grappler has powerful offense thanks to his command grabs and looping pressure, but his short range renders him vulnerable to invincible reversals. However, he has plenty of access to safejumps from his combo enders to help enforce his strong offense. Grappler can get a safejump that both meaties and allows for a hitstop roll OS from the following combo enders:

  • 2M: Simply hold 9 and meaty with j.B for a safejump without any delays.
  • 4[M]: Whiff a 2A, hold 9, and meaty with j.B for a safejump without any delays.
  • j.[M]: Whiff a normal throw, hold 9, and meaty with j.B for a safejump. Requires an estimated 1-2f of total delay (needs further testing).
  • 4[S]: Roll, hold 8, and meaty with j.B for a safejump. Requires an estimated 2-4f of total delay (needs further testing).
  • j.M: Safejump possible, but no known setup.
  • 5[M] OTG: Safejump possible, but no known setup.
