Combo Notation Guide

Numbers represent direction on a keyboard numpad. For example 236+A.png becomes 236A.
> = cancel into the next attack
, = link the next attack after preceding move's recovery
= After landing.
jc = jump cancel
hjc = high jump cancel
CH = Counter Hit
IAD = Instant Air Dash
(N) = only use the Nth attack of the move (for example, if j.B(2) is written, you only use the first two hits of j.B)
[X] = Hold input X.
]X[ = Release input X.
{???}xN = Repeat ??? N amount of times.

  • The most basic Jubei. Use this when you're starting out or when you can't do anything else


5AA(1) or 5AAA > 2B > jc j.AA > j.BB > 4B

Notes:
  • 5AAA only connects on standing opponents and is character specific. In general, it won't connect on characters with a thinner hurtbox like small chars.
  • 5AA > 2B won't connect at max 5A range.

  • You need a character with a 6P with enough hitstun and slow enough startup to get a fully charged Black Panther for this route.

  • Similar to the midscreen variation of this combo, 2B will whiff at around 5A's max range.


With Assists


Combo Theory

236B > microdash 5AA > 236B Juggles

A very common piece in Black Panther loop combos that lead to high damage. The most important part of this combo piece is height control when you microdash 5AA. If you juggle them too high, Black Panther will whiff and the combo will drop. Visually, you want to aim for your opponent to be very low to the ground when you juggle them with 5AA so time your 5AA to catch them right about when they reach ground level.

Also, always make sure to let both hits of 5AA come out or the followup into Black Panther will drop.
