Millia can adjust spacing on her Oki with a number of methods. For a variety of reasons, Millia may want to control how much space is between her and her target target.

  • 2366H - Run/step into Disc
  • 66~236H - Run into Disc. Closes distance.
  • 2D/6H(2nd) x 236H - Direct cancel into disc, situationally desirable.
  • 2D/6H(2nd) x 214K > 236H - Roll into Disc
  • j.H(2/3) x Pin > 236H - Meaty Disc

214H Patterns

214H Techniques

More difficult to set up than 236H, but finding opportunities to set up appropriate 214H applications can yield greater rewards.

  • j.H(2/3) x Pin > 66~6H(2) x 214H - Air Combo ender into 6H x Secret Garden. Millia is technically minus, but this can be useful sometimes.
  • j.H(2/3) x Pin > 214H - Air combo ender, for best results do when at a slight distance from opponent.
  • 2D x 214H - 2D cancel setup. Matchup and spacing dependent.

Tips and Tricks

When Millia picks up her Pin, it makes the same "whoosh" as Tandem Top. You can use this to confirm if Millia was actually able to pick up Pin if it's partially offscreen or otherwise obscured.

Fighting Millia

Always be aware of when Millia has her Pin. Don't give up control of the ground it's on if you don't have to, but do be aware that the Millia player might be playing assuming they can't get it back. Don't scroll the screen if Pin is behind her if you don't have to, or if you have some benefit you can gain before you're forced to approach. (Ex. Setting Grinders, drawing Cards, etc.)
