Λ Core (read as Accent Core) is a fast paced 2D fighter that boast a large roster with each character playing very uniquely, most have their own systems in place for players to master. To date it is the final entry in the "traditional" Guilty Gear franchise and has the most significant system change for the series with the addition of Force Breaks, Slash Backs, Wall Sticks, and more. It also marks the first time since the original XX that character and system voices have been re-recorded.<br/>

Core Plus?=
Accent Core also has a re-release, Accent Core Plus, which fixes various bugs present in the original Japanese console release and includes a brand new Story Mode, Mission Mode and brings back {{Character Label|GGAC|Kliff Undersn|icon=GGACR_Kliff_Undersn_Icon.png}} and {{Character Label|GGAC|Justice|icon=GGACR_Justice_Icon.png}} as unlockable characters.
An update to the original game that addressed multiple bugs found in the original's console conversion (while fixed, other bugs popped up), it also marks the return of '''[[Kliff Underson (GGAC)|Kliff]]''' and '''[[Justice (GGAC)|Justice]]''' to the playable roster. It also adds a new story mode and for the first time since X: Advance Edition a Team Versus mode which allows each player to pick 3 characters and square off in 1-on-1 elimination matches (unlike the tag-esque styling of X: Advance Edition)

Guilty Gear XX Accent Core is an update to Guilty Gear XX Slash, adding new gameplay mechanics such as Force Breaks, Slashback and Throw Breaks. This version also updates many of the game's aesthetics, adding a new opening, replacing the UI and menus, adding new character portraits and backgrounds, and re-recording all the voices.

Accent Core also has a re-release, Accent Core Plus, which fixes various bugs present in the original Japanese console release and includes a brand new Story Mode, Mission Mode and brings back Kliff Undersn and Justice as unlockable characters.

The gameplay balance from Accent Core is also available in the Steam and Switch releases of Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R and can be toggled on in the Options menu. The Steam release includes GGPO rollback netcode, and as such is the recommended way to play.
