FAUC's final equipment purge releases a Pressure-style Psycoframe explosion, stunning the enemy (basically the same as Quanta's Quantum Burst equipment purge).

In addition to the Pressure stun, it also inherits Unicorn's Psycommu Jack effect that disables all ranged Newtype weapons it comes into contact with:

Will stop:

  • Funnels (hi-Nu, Nu, Sazabi, Quebely, etc)
  • Dragoons (Strike Freedom, Providence)
  • GN Bits (Cherudim, Quan[T])
  • Fangs (Arche, Throne Drei?)
  • Xi's funnel missiles
  • INCOMs (Rozen Zulu, Ex-S)


Will not stop:

  • DX's G-bits (assists)
  • Turn-X separation parts
  • Zeong's wired hands


It can stop:

  • Nu's Fin Funnel barrier and Cherudim's shild bits, but only if you hit them right before they assemble. It won't deactivate these shields once they are in use.

After the aura expands the shield funnels automatically attack your target, doing a BG rapid-fire→rush attack. This attack can in turn be followed up by a melee combo if so desired. Be aware though that you cannot use target swap during this combo followup time? Alternatively, if you press [BC] you will do the barrel roll that is normally performed when used while the shield funnels are deployed.

Among other Pressure attacks this has extremely high performance with its fast startup, Psycommu Jack, and shield funnels attack. An excellent tool for neutralizing OD+EX.


One caution you must take though is it does not have Super Armor or any other kind of guaranteed startup, so it is possible to be interrupted and stopped while using it.

FAUC has only one lone melee attack in its arsenal, basically for a final self-defense option at close range.

Although the reach is quite poor, the priority is extremely good, being able to beat even Avalanche Exia's 5BC. Doing so though relies greatly on you being the first to start your attack, as the startup, rush speed, etc, are nothing remarkable.

Decently dependable for self-defense, again, as long as you use it in a timely manner when an enemy is closing in and don't drag your feet about it.

Taken from the scene in Episode 7 in which Awakened Unicorn fights Neo Zeong bare-handed after its ranged weapons have all been destroyed by Neo Zeong's PsychoShard Generator. Unicorn attacks with a series of punches and nukite (hand spear) strikes, finishing with a soft touch to the chest that sends the enemy soaring from the Newtype Light energy.

Like other melee-type EX attacks, the first stage of course has Super Armor, and each attack before the final hit does 0 Down, with the last hit being a forced Down.

Very long attack time (a little over 7s), and while the first two stages have a good amount of movement, the middle 5 stages (half the attack) where the two are taking turns striking blows has very little movement and so very low cut resistance. If you make it past that to the second issen though your chances of finishing the attack should be good.


Note that using the attack while in FAUC or HWS Modes will automatically purge you down to Unicorn Mode.
